Sunday nights.

Procrastinate. + Procrastinate. + Procrastinate. = SUNDAY NIGHT.

so this weekend while i was bored out of my mind a particular song i favorited a while ago on my Pandora radio account because a particular someone randomly texted me one particular night recommending the particular song... "Great Expectations".(which i am no sure to the extent of the motivation or deeper symbolism of...i looked it up on "songmeanings" too...)  Anyways, the song which, no lies, is probably a main component to my motivation in wanting to read the novel this weekend, played as i surfed the web. and although i do not particularly ADORE the song in the same manner i LOVE " sometime around midnight " -airborne toxic event. iono, the band seems to share similar qualities. (except i think the gaslight anthem still sounds too raspy and unfinished in most of their songs...) but anyways i looked up some more of their music and i enjoyed a lot of their lyrics. they're actually pretty good despite the vocals on some tracks. and then i read this one... FILM NOIR. and i lmao and fell in love with this verse...

and then i got to thinking about the novel "great expectations" and estella's character. and then i continued reading and listening to more lyrics and they do seem to reiterate the same plot, and characters...ie "maria, virginia" etc. i like that song Miles Davis and The Cool though. its pretty funny/cute... iono. though. Nothing i would recommend you start making posters and band shirts for... but, hopefully they get better in the future.

anyways. just a tid-bit to share.

Here's to a memorable monday, not getting caught, some insane memories, feelings being shared and spilled and swept up, friends and family, fun kid stuff, and fun teen stuff, new people, laughter and joy, and new experiences.... here's to a new week.
