Retreat.

our place for the weekend.

{imagine this... only coated in like 7-4feet of snow.}

wow. this weekend was undoubtedly awesome. SATURDAY was the BEST DAY ever!!!!!!!

****before you read this...please excuse all the "hahaha"s the "lol" and "lolz" and all of that stuff. i know i said it alot, but i am in such a good mood and i can't stop laughing...****


Friday after school i frantically packed up all of my clothes and food and necessities and went to church. i was a tad late but all was good. so i found Natalie and Marielle, i was sooooo excited to finally see them! so we talked for a bit then we had to get on our buses, i was bus 1 and they were bus 2 so i got on the bus with gabe. and we sat next to ynah and julia. wowow!! ynah was freakin highlarious and we got to know each other really fast. on the way up there we combined all our rows and kristen and all of us played a bunch of games. no one could stop laughing. i went like five rounds on "ten fingers" cause i kept dying hahhaha. while we got closer to the mts. ynah and i talked and he sang like every love song and Disney song he knew !! damn Filipinos and there obsession with love songs lol. hahaha then we started talking about X-men. LOL wolverine and scott?!?!?! XD then we arriveed and it was FREEZING!! i unloaded everything and i ran up to grab my bunk bed. got a top one and i laid out all my blankets and my pillow and my teddy bear. then we went down stairs and prayed and sang and got in our small groups.

NATALIE, JENNIFER, AMANDA, MICHAEL, ANDREW, AND ME... were family 1. lol


we all talked and got to know each other and then we had free time. we chilled at the "CRIB" lolz and then after snacks we went to bed at like 2am. woke up at six to get ready. all the girls bathrooms were filled and it took me a while to get a spot, went downsatirs and helped setup for breakfast. ate. more free time, so we went hiking with andrew v. there was like 3ft of snow EVERYWHERE. and in some places there was a mountain of snow with like no ground underneath it so we kept like falling through. had a mini snow ball tiff with the guys there and they were all obsessed with SHAUN WHITE. hahaha thats like all i heard all weekend lol
so we went back in later for small groups. talked with out group and then WE went hiking and decided upon a group name and skit we'd all perform later that night. went back inside and we had lunch, and then more free time= MASSIVE SNOWBALL WAR. lol this other retreat group on the premise had apparently mat up with us earlier and this guy... UCLA GUY. (hahaha  ---"WE CAN GO TOE-TO-TOE!!)  so epic snow ball fight occured and the cutest guy EVER. although i dont know anyyyyything about him. OMG! he had the cutest smile i've ever seen. lol when i came out of the girls dorm i was like :O. and i he saw me and flashed such a cute smile... hahaha oh DYLAN. (btw hes not ghetto but he is a jerk...with  a baseball arm.but still the cutest guy i've ever seen....EVER.) lol anywayyyyys epic snowball fight with some riverside church. and we destroyed them!!! i mean we were trying to play fair and all you know.. but then they started getting annoying and saying really offensive stuff... so we dominated them and a fight almost broke out... (some CHURCH retreat. huh?  lol) so then we went back in small groups designed our poster, and prepared for Mass. talked of the Prodigal Son and i brought in the Lectionary... almost all of Mass andrew was screwing around with me. hahaha. but i learned alot. and it was great. then we had more free time, so our tired little butts lagged it on the couch but then all of our friends and everyone that was cool was in our room and we played the most  HIGHLARIOUS, DIRTY,and UNFORGETTABLE game of Charades. lol. gummy bear? shaun white? obama? piece of shit? grababer? wolverine? Fire hydrant? XD wow. we were so hyper and loud!!! even Joe came up... hahaha "Yes, Lord; Yes, Lord; YES YES YES."  ---good save--- hahaha and then after our higlarious skits came ADORATION. 


wow. that hit home. it was so sad. i thought it was only like an hour...but turns out it was like THREE, and i was BALLING the whole time. ug. SOBBING!!!! it was crazy, i felt so much and so different, and thanks to kristen who came and comforted me... and John too. :D hahah hes so sweet.    then i went and Chris and Kristen prayed for me, and it was unbelievable because what i intro-d, they covered and they even helped me with more stuff that i couldn't even explain. i felt so good after but my makeup was a mess, hahaha 
but we were all so happy :)


then we went back up changed into PJ's, had snacks and chilled on the couch where we LOFAO. and adrian and i talked :) he was really nice and funny too. i got the hand wrmer in his mouth!! lolz "USE YOUR LEFT HAND!!" and we all played games and had a lot of fun. we were sooooooooooooo tired by the end of the night though, and then we still lost an hour of sleep thanks to daylight savings time  :P but wow. we must've been on Something.because we were enjoying ourselves so much.      Took a shower later that night and i was soooo tired. No lie; i could like barely stand up in the shower. hahaha then i knocked out. 




ZZZZZZZZ! woke up later on sunday, went down and ate. we all had fun at our table. then natalie and i went out and played SNOWvolleyball. and then gabe joined us and all of adrian's friends and we had a lot of fun, and then ynah and i watched as adrian and everyone broke off pieces of frozen ice and tried sledding down the hill like SHAUN WHITE. hahaha i was scared they were going to die a couple of times. lolz. and then i became ISABELLE ???. lol, then we went back in and adrian and i switched name tags and then i packed and small groups some more. read all our letters and then we did AFFIRMATION. everyone said such nice stuff and apparently i cant stop SMILING. lol and they all suggested i come back next year to be a leader, which was pretty cool. afterwards we ate lunch on the patio. and had a funny talk about Godzilla trees and the freaking hott guy from the other retreat i was crushin on. lol. the we went back in sang and worshiped and LOFAO some more. body roll? hahaha packed up and brought down all our luggage. i changed and loaded some luggage into the buses. on the bus ride i sat with natalie (diff. natalie...the natlie from my smallgroup, not my old friend) and Liz and Anthony and we all couldnt believe anthony hadnt kissed a girl. lmao (i can call his bs!?!?) but afterwards he signed onto myspace and we went though all his stuff hahaha and he actually does seem like a good boy; even if he doesn't look like one. :P hahaha and liz and i were almost crying, we were laughing so hard. 


then we got to chino. unloaded the stuff and i threw like three sleeping bags at anthony, and when i went to go switch name tags with adrian he's all:
 "hey, hey, where's your boyfriend?" 
 me="?"  
  "yea, that cute guy from riverside!" 
 "oh! dylan? hahahaha"
 "yea him" 
so im lauging and then i'm like...."....wait who told you???"

so then i talked to Natalie C and she was all, 

" so i was on the bus and Adrian kept saying'''where's my girlfriend? wheres my girlfriend?'''.

(ON BUS 2)

Natalie: "who?!?!"

Adrian: "my GF!"

N: "steph?"

A: "YEA!"

N: "aw, nah, she was totally crushing on that other hott guy from the other church..."

A:   :O "what?!?!?!"

so apparently they had a discussion on thaaaaat...

hahaha so now he's like "oh! you cheated on me!!" and then when i'm getting all the guys' numbers he's like WOA! hahaha  


and then i went to the bathroom there wasssss such a long line for the girls and no one was in the boys so i went in there and apparently as soon as i walked in a couple of guys wanted to go in tooo, so when i  got out they ragged on me for that hahaha. then we went to Mass and i found Anthony's mommy and daddy thanks to Steven. hahaha he's such a mama's boy ;) church was good. actually really interesting. Thank God no slideshow but i'm pretty sure they are going to show it next weekend lol. Dang Devin!!! i hope that picture isnt in there    :X !!! lol  


daymn though, i was having so much fun this weekend!!! even being sooo tired and having my arms be super sore after all those snowballs, after sleeping in bunkbeds and only getting like 6hours of sleep the entire weekend, and being practically frozen, i had an AMAZING time. 


Laughter with some of the greatest friends, and being able to be so open on everything was wonderful. the prayers, adoration, and affirmation, were particularly my FAV. as well as my small group. i wish this weekend in the mountains had never ended. Thank You God!!!!!


i cant wait to chill with everyone again next sunday. hopefully i can make it. :)
