The signs. @#$&*~!
i took this photo from darren. i guess i love it because its a perfect photo. it represents us as a group, and us being so close to the edge of the world...
maybe when a certain someone got caught in the summer with everything in his car, and was faded and all and then totaled his car, and was sent to jail, and everyone was SO scared, because we all thought he died...but thankfully he didn't...but sadly he is on parole. well, i would think this event would have scared him and the others around him for sometime. maybe when a girl almost got caught at the mall, she might have stopped. maybe when a girl broke his heart, she'd start to think more about others. maybe when a certain guy had stopped smoking for so long because usually when he did he just ended up throwing up, and he had someone who cared for him, you think he wouldn't go back. maybe when three people on the weekend of a school dance, got caught at kohls, and everyone had to scramble to help them, and they could make someone lose their job, and now they are forbidden to go there, well it would be a sign for them to leave all of the stuff that they used to do. maybe when the guys' parents suspected them of doing these things they do every day, that instead of covering up their tracks for a while, they'd change their life. maybe when a guy couldn't go home because he knew his parents were home, he'd want to change so that he could go and leave whenever he pleased. maybe when a certain girl drank at school with her ex and got too drunk, she would learn not to drink at school anymore. maybe when a guy who for some reason i had told, "don't do it tomorrow, it's bad" and who then almost gets caught at school, that'd he'd get spooked and stop. maybe when someone is speeding and going 90 on the freeway and endangering lives, and almost gets a ticket, he would learn to stop driving so recklessly. maybe when a guy who didn't have a license, decided to still drive a motorcycle and was really close to a serious occurrence, that he'd change some more. maybe when a guy got a ticket for stop signs, he'd learn to stop now. maybe when a guy got a ticket for passing and carrying people, he might change soon. maybe when they didn't use a condom, and she got scared and sent one of her ex's to get a pill, she might have thought a little more about the future she is creating for herself. maybe when a guy hydroplaned in the middle of the night, and could have hit a pole with a car full of people, that he wouldn't want to drive under the influence anymore. maybe when she drank and cried, she thought about her life and where she is going. maybe when a guy backed into a car, he would drive more carefully since he was "sober" at the time. maybe when a girl met a guy who treated her right, she wouldn't go back to all the others who abuse her. maybe when a certain girl got caught with some dirty pictures and almost got caught again, that she'd stop. maybe when a guy didn't pass his drug test, even thought he spent so much time drinking detox shit, he'd feel some type of remorse and start being drug free. maybe when a girl got high in the parking lot, and made a fool of herself, and felt sorry afterwards, that she'd change and never want to do it again, and wouldn't want to try X. maybe when everyone has to leave ASAP from Three Oaks, and they came close to getting caught, they'd want to stop. maybe when a guy's car was searched, he'd be thankful, that for once, there was nothing in there. maybe when people started finding out things a certain girl had done with a guy, she would have stopped. maybe when a guy almost got caught smoking, or when he had cigs in his car, that'd he stop. maybe when our friends are all deemed drugies, that we wouldn't want such a title. maybe when we all decided on CLEAN MARCH, we would have tried to keep such a promise, not to the group, but for ourselves.
maybe when he/she drank, or smoked, or rolled, or stole, or drove, or ran away, he/she took a second, right before, to think about what they were doing...
maybe for all the times i haven't mentioned, we wouldn't be like the mosquito, looking for more blood, and flying straight into the light, only to get burned at some point...
what's it going to take for all of us to change? to stop? will we ever?
i pray to God we learn quickly before anyone gets hurt forever. i thank God, because he has blessed us all with so much luck. no one has ever had to serve the TRUE amount our crimes have asked us to, and we all usually get off ok. we are lucky because no one has really seen their life being ruined yet. THANK GOD.

we wont ever learn until someone really does get in trouble. in REAL trouble. and that's quite sad.
ReplyDeletewhy does it have to be that way though?
ReplyDeletebecause we are human and so thick-skinned sometimes that we need real pain to understand things. our friend's minds, they're quite closed off and naive and they only want their fun now. its a whole play know think later sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteug. its pissing me off. i mean i understand that this has been going on for some time now... but, its being abused now more than ever.
ReplyDeletewe need to take it down a couple of notches. back to some of that "innocent" fun (lol christian's party?)...or at least limit our intake... and not get SHIT-FACED on the(last) weekend... (and then talk shit about all of our friends and degrade me, with some "alcohol's worse" bullshit, when you are a fucking alchy).
you talk to much LOL jk
ReplyDeleteI think you are right, Steph. What fucked me over as I am is the fact that I refused to respect my parents.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason all of us have met at all is because we are all enrolled in school, together. Why do we come to school? To be educated, and the opposite of ignorant. Also to pave the path for college, and a successful life afterward. To be honest, it seems to me that we are doing everything BUT that.
We are ruining it for ourselves. Everytime we drink, smoke, get high, etc. we are taking a risk. A risk that could put our life in jeopardy. A risk that could ruin our lives. A risk that could potentially destroy the lives of others. And what were we doing, why did it happen? You were just trying to have some fun and live it up.
Even though I'm exactly across the world from you guys, I still hope nothing happens, and that you guys learn before somebody makes a mistake.
Everything that has happend so far, it has only been warnings. What is most disappointing to me is that nobody seems to make the slightest attempt to clean up their acts.
Are we really going to learn when one of us pays the ultimate price for our ignorance? Will we even learn when one of us goes down?
I don't know, and I'm hoping this is one thing time will never have to tell.
Don't be fucking stupid guys. Use your brains, and clean up your acts. Get serious, and make a plan to do something in life that DOESNT involve getting yourself or others killed.
Didn't the accidents show you what could have happend? Didn't you learn when one of your fellow group mates was put on parole? Didn't you learn when you almost got caught? Didn't you learn when someone DID get caught?
Don't be ignorant. Please. You won't be hurting only yourself, I guarantee it.
wow. you wrote a lot and you were so precise. <3 it! hahaha you made a lot of good points, thanks for your insight :)
